Helping you get the most from your supports

As my disability support needs increased with Support workers coming each day, I soon found myself exhausted by the constant questions of “how can I help?”, “where do I store this?” and “how does your disability impact you?”. I spoke to other people with disability and I discovered my story was all too common. There had to be a better way. I placed my business improvement hat on and set about digitalising support worker to-do lists. This led to a full suite of instructions on how to do everything in my home and the necessary software to support the processes.

I discovered, to truly get the value from your supports, you must accept your home is now a workplace and needs to run with processes and procedures, for your safety, stress and smiles. Importantly it gives workers the ability to focus on value-add tasks and go home satisfied each day.

I take these personal learnings and support other people with disability to implement a structured and personalised approach to onboarding, ongoing training, household management and daily task lists for their supports, using the right technology for them. I leave a solution for the person and their team to continue to evolve and improve upon.
